Our Story

Numena was created after six years of living and working on Koh Samui. We have seen the humidity, salt air, difficult access, drainage issues, power requirements, delivery challenges and the difference between products that look good online and products that actually last here.

We built Numena because recovery spaces should not be pieced together from separate suppliers with no one responsible for the final result. A sauna, cold plunge or full recovery room needs to be planned around the property, the climate and the people who will use it. That is why we bring product selection, delivery, installation and support together under one accountable local team.

Numena is one part of a family that has worked on these islands for years. Our real estate arm sells villas, our management arm runs them for owners who live abroad, and Numena Healing installs the recovery rooms inside them. When you buy from us, the people who install your sauna are connected to the people who can rent, manage and resell your property. No other supplier on the islands works this way.

Our Standard

Every Numena setup is built around high-quality materials, durable components and equipment chosen for long-term use in island conditions. We focus on strong timber, reliable heaters, dependable chillers, proper finishes, suitable hardware and products that can handle heat, humidity and regular use.

We do not build recovery rooms around weak equipment or products that only look good in photos. Each sauna and cold plunge is selected for durability, matched to the property and installed with practical details considered before handover.
